Commissioning Service - Wed 3/19/08

On Wednesday, March 19th there was a wonderful commissioning service for all three TKCS 08 Mission Teams. The South Africa team left shortly after the service and the England team left later that same day. During the service, a student from each team gave a testimony. The DC testimony included how God led the student to the DC team and how he has been helping her grow in her spiritual walk and experience Him more and more especially through the devotional journey "A Call To Die". A key verse for the student is I Timothy 4:7-8 which says "...train yourself to be godly. For physical training has some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come." Pray for all of our team as we spend a week together training for godliness!

Maundy Thursday - Team Communion Lunch

We took some time at lunch on Thursday as a team to reflect on Jesus' servant leadership in his great gift through his death and resurrection. Pray for us as we celebrate these this weekend with our families and home churches and as we do the final preparations prior to the trip!
